Project: Recycle3Go

Recycle3Go is inspired by a group of engineers, Dr Serene Lock Sow Mun, Ms Irene Lock Sow Mei, and Mr Lim Lam Ghai, who are passionate about tackling some pressing environmental issues. The team incorporates cross-disciplinary collaboration and symbiotic sharing between industry and academia.

Serene is a lecturer working at the Chemical Engineering Department of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), commended with several awards due to her innovation to solve industrial issues using computational interest.

Irene, a process engineer specialising in water technology at PETRONAS, is a multi-award-winning chemical engineer who has led numerous ground-breaking utility and wastewater-related projects. On the other hand, Lam Ghai is a final year PhD candidate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UTP, whose research interest is in the niche area of neuroimaging modalities, brain-computer interface, signal processing, and mental workload.
